Sustainability at Stena Fastigheter
At Stena Fastigheter, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. For us, sustainability means both taking responsibility for the climate and creating the conditions for people to thrive. We want everyone who lives and works in our buildings to feel safe, included, and able to look to the future with confidence.
Social sustainability – Relationship Management
A central part of our sustainability work is Relationship Management – our own long-term method for working with people and communities. It is about building trust, listening, and acting together with those who live and work in our areas. When we develop or renovate a property, we invite residents to share their views and experiences. Together, we create attractive, secure, and inclusive neighbourhoods.
We also collaborate closely with local partners such as municipalities, schools, associations, and other property owners. By focusing on children and young people, we support initiatives that strengthen education, open up opportunities in the labour market, and provide meaningful activities after school. In this way, we help create conditions for young people to dream, grow, and build their futures.
Climate and environmental sustainability
At the same time, we take active responsibility for the climate and the environment. We invest in energy-efficient solutions, renewable energy, and sustainable construction methods. Our goal is to reduce climate impact throughout the entire value chain – from the way we manage and modernise our properties to how we design and build new homes and workplaces.
